A single guy with a camera!

After a career as a writer and teacher - a lifelong student of philosphy, music, and art - I decided to turn what had been an avocation that my father had introduced me to into both a fulfilling business and a way of bringing joy to others.

I've been shooting weddings professionally all over Florida for over six years now - and in addition do fashion and other types of commercial photography, including promotional pictures of local musical artists. I use that experience to bring a wide variety of perspectives and artistry to my work.

After meeting with many brides over the past 5 years, I've noticed that there are quite a few questions that are commonly asked. I've tried to answer some of the most common here. Of course, if you have other questions, feel free to contact me any time. I'm founder of the Documentary Wedding Photographers Association - an association for photographers who specialize in documentary albums of your wedding day.
